I have a color adjust slider and I need to change the color of my control and the slider without opening the interface builder and with code only.
I change the values of the slider and this change the color of my control, but when I leave the control the color doesn't change to the color specified by the slider value.

I think this is the solution to my problem:

All of a sudden everything is working normally again. I don't know what happened.

Somehow after updating to the newest version of Node (6.0.0-alpha.4) and going through all the trouble of installing and upgrading npm, I found that my app was still using the old version of node.js that was cached in my registry. After deleting everything node.js related from the registry, I did npm install -g node and it worked like a charm.
So be careful with your Node version.
